Broken Streetlights has been featured as a spotlight artists at the 2017 & 2018 Florida Music Festival. The band has received numerous press reviews (Axis Magazine, Ink 19, ReverbNation) and have been compared to the likes of Taking Back Sunday, Blink-182, and Jimmy Eat World.
When they were looking for a studio to record their music, the way they envisioned, they reached out to us (last year) and after conversations with Isra (our recording engineer/drum specialist) decided to browse around for other options. About 8 months after this initial interaction, we received a message from the band wanting to record a single, "Good Kids Gone Bad". We were thrilled to know they decided to book us for the whole project, start to finish, meaning Recording, Mixing and Mastering. Isra and the band quickly went over plans, pre-production and got the process going.
After the recording was done, both the band and us, were super happy with what was captured, the rawness of the band, real drums that sounded punchy and big, perfect guitar tracks that had definition and grit, bass that filled the spectrum and punk vocals with amazing performance and energy. It was now time for Carlos (Mix engineer, photo & video) to get all these raw tracks and make all these elements come together and give it our signature mojo sound in the mix process.
Then, its off to Mastering with Jesus "Chu" (In house Mastering Engineer), where he took the track a big step further to a fat, punchy and clear sounding song we now know as "Good Kids Gone Bad".
